London Is Sinking is the fourth Chris T-T album since
1999 and his third release for Snowstorm Records.

It was entirely recorded at One Cat Studio
in Stamford Hill and produced by Jon Clayton.

Chris originally wrote an album about giraffes and vertical
perspective in 2002, after spending six months imagining
he was an urban giraffe - while at the front upstairs on
double-decker buses. But two other pop acts, Mute artist
Echoboy and Nottingham's Chemistry Experiment, both
released giraffe-themed records during 2002.

This left T-T back at the starting place. His new theme
was the river Thames, inspired by former drummer Andy's
six-month stay at the Boaters' Inn in Kingston, which
overlooks the river.

One of the songs from Giraffes has made it onto this album,
detailing the religious faith of the UK giraffe population.

During the course of London Is Sinking, a girl abandons
her family and friends to row down the Thames in a wooden dinghy.
Meanwhile, one child drowns in the river and another child is
born with 7 hearts squeezed into his chest. Someone spikes T-T's
drink at the BBC with horse tranquiliser and London Bridge gets
bombed just in time for the girl to become an unsung hero.
